Everyone needs to do this once in their lifetime - WOW! With John handling the booking we were spoiled with information. We used Whitsunday Provisioning so arrival to the boat was a breeze. And what a boat! We'd booked Portland Roads, what an inspiring choice, she's beautiful. Mike's briefing was exactly what us land lubbers needed and his daily calls helped create a holiday we will never forget. Thanks Mike. What an amazing experience to share with our children! We learnt and saw so many new and exciting things. Sailing added a wonderful dynamic to our trip. Once the motor was turned off and we were sailing to our destination, we gained a greater depth of appreciation for relaxation, feeling the motion of the ocean and hearing the gentile waters pass by.The Whitsundays are so beautiful I wish I could bottle it up and take it home with me.Thank you to Portland Roads for making our trip so easy, we felt safe and very well looked after.Thank you.

Barefoot on a 380 catamaran has changed my view of life . Given voice to those little cliches... like time and tide waits for no one.
Watching sea eagle and osprey tussle over a caught fish, the moon dance between clouds, sleep under the stars on the front trampoline until the patter of misty rain draws you inside and feeling the wind pulling you through the waves is quite exhilarating . Put a family on a boat and see the opportunities wake like from a dream.... who thought going out on a 380 cat could stimulate the imagination so vividly.

What a great boat is the lagoon 380, we had *** for twenty nights. She’s easy to pilot, having good vision of the mooring bouys makes picking them up reasonably easy, and she handles rough seas incredibly well. We were sailing around the effects of cyclone Owen and had some testing weather, ruby Sunday felt safe all the way through, we just had to hang on, what a buzz.
She’s a bit slower than the bigger lagoons with just the motors going, however she gives them a run for their money under sail.
Great holiday, thanks to all the guys at Portland Roads, We’ll be back again

Why has no one told me about this before?
Between the six of us it was the best value holiday possible. I thought nothing much before the charter, I'm not really sure what I was thinking. Thanks to *** for helping everything run so smoothly- you're a natural. And what happened once we arrived was purely magic, great boat, *** was amazing and sailing is my new passion. *** to captain in one week. I even like Rod Stewart singing sailing on high rotation

Ivy we think back to the time of boarding and during your briefing. Everyone in your crew needed a holiday. Six days later and in comes the chill boat, the love boat, the fun boat, the skilled boat (and yes the Rod Stewart boat). We could not wipe the smiles from your faces. And the fact that you re-booked on line before you even made it back to the marina - Now that's a first.
