Great experience! We loved our time. Feedback for the company: more bowls would be helpful, a bit faster response from our land guy, and the port head needs a little help. Overall 5 stars. Easy to navigate and the glorious sights abound. Cheers!!

We have replenished the galley items and replaced the port head maceration system. This should return our vessel to her normal status and meet the expectations of all guests. Oh to think of the items lost overboard over any year, it breaks our heart for the health of the reef. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

We had a fabulous time on ***’s catamaran “Southern Man”. It was a beautiful boat, in excellent condition and very functional, particularly with all the living space on the one level. There were en-suites for each cabin which was fantastic. Mark went over and above to make sure the experience was a good as possible. He was always available when we had questions, and he decked the boat out with extras such as a coffee machine and soda stream. He also fitted a TV which we didn’t end up using as we just loved snorkling, sailing, hiking, watching the sunrises and sunsets, and playing cards.
We loved it so much we will be back next year.

Had an amazing holiday with the family on the Ruby Sunday. Boat is perfectly set up so you can easily travel around the gorgeous Whitsundays. ***’s comprehensive briefing session before we left made us feel comfortable and at ease with the workings of the boat.
Would highly recommend the whole experience and would definitely do it again one day.

An amazing trip!
We booked this almost 2 years ago and finally the dates arrived. We booked Lucy with 4 couples, heaps of room, Lucy performed awesome and was present faultlessly.
*** meet us and gave us a brief run down as we opted for the board early on the night before which was well worth it. The next morning he gave us a detailed briefing of *** and the Whitsundays area also going over our trip plans.
Throughout the week we got everywhere we intended, juggled a couple of things due to weather after discussion with *** and all was well.

Definitely recommend to anyone who wish's to see the beautiful Whitsundays area, I would 100% recommend booking with Portland Roads as I would be happy to use again.

What a trip! A few days on "Ruby Sunday" in July will certainly be a trip to be remembered. Good sailing weather and whale sighting after whale sighting was a real treat. The whole experience from the minute we booked online, the corespondence leading up to our trip, and our face-to-face briefing was very reassuring and made us even more excited. You couldn't help but catch the enthusiasm from Portland Roads staff through the emails and phone calls. Everything was pretty simple. We just had to grab our supplies and then get briefed. After that it was smooth sailing for the whole time. Can't wait to get back next year!
