What a fantastic family holiday! Sailing added a wonderful dynamic to our time away. Thank you to Portland Roads for making our holiday smooth sailing, we felt safe and very well looked after. Ruby Sunday is a beautiful boat and we are very grateful to have spent some time on her.

This was our 4th Whitsundays charter, but the first time with these guys. Customer service, support, guidance, boats, but best of all - their people, are quite simply number 1 - And the islands never let us down.
We had humid and wet weather most of the week, but nothing could put a dampener on this holiday.
We said before this trip that it would be our last to the Whitsundays, but a week on Portland Roads and sailing with these guys has changed everything - See you next year

We are just back from a 5 night sail on the Due West, booked via Luxury Escapes. Stop looking around and just go with these guys. Their service is AAA+ from start to finish. The boat was in fantastic condition, like new, everything you need to cook and live on board is there for you. Deano will talk you through the sailing but we were inexperienced sailors and spent 98% of our time on the motor. Petrol was only $140. Just listen to Deano about where and when to swim and the best spots to visit. You can't go wrong and you'll have the trip of a lifetime. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Deano and Portland Roads.

We had such a brilliant trip. The boat was comfortable and more spacious that we'd imagined. The scenery was breathtaking and the Whitsunday beeches rival any in the world. We were given clear instructions about where and where not to swim, where to find the best snorkelling, turtle spotting and hiking tracks. We felt very safe. One for the bucket-list.

I cant rave enough about the experience we had on the Due West on our recent trip. Portland Road made everything easy for us. Deano gave us all the information we needed for a safe trip.The boat was all decked out with everything we needed for a relaxing, fun adventure.....including a coffee machine!! Waking up to a fresh coffee, and immersing myself in the spectacular beauty of the Whitsundays was mind-blowing. Sailing around the islands and swimming at White Haven Beach was absolutely breathtaking. An experience i will never forget and one i have not stopped encouraging people to book. Its great value and a lasting memory.

We recently returned from 7 nights on Lucy sailing and motoring around the stunning Whitsundays.It was smooth sailing from booking online to boarding and back. Deano gave us a thorough, informative and lengthy initiation to the boat, the surroundings, safety, where to swim and where NOT to swim, best beaches to Moore for the night and lots more.We did some fabulous snorkeling, swam and fished reconnected with nature , family and friends.I would highly recommend Portland Roads sailing company, their communication was prompt and friendly.

One of the best holidays I’ve ever been on. The boat was surprisingly spacious and well equipped, great island walks and the beaches were breathtakingly beautiful. An iconic adventure. We were well briefed and knew where and where not to swim, snorkel and dive. Definitely one to add to your bucket list.
