Brad is an absolute superstar—6 stars all the way! He truly knows his stuff, and if you follow his advice, you’re guaranteed the best holiday of your life. Not only did he plan everything perfectly, but he also went above and beyond, saving us when we got stuck in bad weather at the end of our trip. His expertise, dedication, and care make him an absolute legend. Highly recommend and cant recommend SV Lucy enough. Will do.it again!!

We have done quite a few bareboat trips with different companies in the past, but we will always return to “Portland Roads Whitsundays” every time now!!! The communication & patience from John regarding booking, & re booking thanks to cyclones (we got there in the end 😂😂) was amazing. Our week aboard ”Lucy” was incredible, she is such a fantastic & beautiful boat with everything you need, plus some luxury items. Must give the biggest thank you to the amazing Brad “our everything contact” while aboard Lucy for all his knowledge, suggestions & advice. Our trip was always going to be amazing, (how can it not be in the beautiful Whitsundays!) but Brad made it even better than we could have ever dreamed! A very special week aboard PORTLAND ROADS made all the more special with our exceptional (family) crew! John, Danny and the team at Portland Roads really take very seriously their custodianship of the great Ngaro Sea Country and go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible trip. Every contingency is planned for an mitigated so whilst you are at sea you have 100% piece of mind. The fleets is lovingly maintained and cared for and you could not want for anything more whilst you are away. Our welcome to country by John was both touching and educational. The brief by Danny was thorough and took us to places we have never visited before, seeing the absolute best Ngaro Sea Country has to offer! The coral, sealife and wildlife we saw on this trip was sensational and all can be attributed to Danny's recommendations. From booking to the day we disembarked nothing was too much trouble. We “sailed” (actually we used the motor) the Whitsundays in a Portland Road Bare Boat.The company is next level excellent.Great communication pre trip with lots of advice and information.Excellent extended pre sail briefingFabulous well stocked boat. Fully air conditioned with a full kitchen. Including coffee machine, ice maker, huge freezer, fridges, microwave, toaster, gas stove.4 berths with 4 ensuites including fluffy towels and hot showers.Motorised tender boat for easy travel to the shore.Cannot recommend Brad and Portland Road highly enough for the holiday of a lifetime

We have only been off our Catamaran Lucy for 24 hours and already miss her. The service we received from Portland Roads was second to none. To do something like this was a dream come true and it was our best Aussie holiday experience. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to experience this again. You all deserve 6 STARS.

Great communicators and extremely supportive.Perfect advice and guidance.We are experienced sailors, so I feel we were very restricted by the anchorage limitations. Lucy is an " oldie but a goodie". Comfortable for 4 couples.Galley is well equipped and each cabin has its own ensuited.Has a generator and inverter, so able to use appliances including a Pod coffee machine.Pls remember to organise your stinger suits and snorkel sets before coming onboard.See Lucy on you tube if you want to see more about the boatSmall company with a great customer focus.
