AMAZING!! This was one of the most peaceful, wholesome and surreal experiences I’ve ever had. A group of 8 friends who boarded Lawless (a beautiful catamaran) were greeted with a warm, professional manner by Mike to the vessel that would create so many incredible memories for the next week. It was the perfect amount of space for cooking shared beautiful meals, storing cold drinks, cocktails, beers and cheeseboards but also had so much space to find your own spot to read, write or just bliss out in the sunshine or even embrace some of the little rain showers that came over while we explored the islands. We had solid instructions on how we should be conducting ourselves on the boat which made us feel safe and capable. Also the respect and connection Portland Roads has with the First Nation’s people of the local area was a huge highlight for me. We also saw plenty of turtles, rays, fish as well! Needless to say, this was the experience of a lifetime and I couldn’t recommend it more 💙

My husband, 2 girls and I went on the boat Lucy in September.... it was EVERYTHING we could have wanted and MORE! The weather was great, not to hot, not to cool. The water was refreshing and clear. We had some rain for 2 days but it didn't matter at all, we could still do everything we wanted to do. Staying dry was super easy on the catamaran too, as there was heaps of space and we didn't feel confined.Watching the sunrise and sunsets on the boat is my favourite thing about sailing!We are planning to take another trip again asap and bring our friends along too!We have been sailing in the whitsundays before and from our experience Portland Roads are the best!

A week onboard LAWLESS was exactly what we needed, we swam with turtles, watched the sunsets and embraced all that the Whitsundays had to offer. A truly amazing experience, the Portland Roads staff are super friendly and helpful ensure that our adventure on the seas was safe and enjoyable. Their local knowledge is invaluable, winds change and so do plans, they had us heading to the best spots for the conditions. LAWLESS is a very well appointed boat and extremely easy to handle, we had the best nights sleep ever and returned to shore well rested. Thank you John, Mike and the Portland Roads crew, you provided us with one of the best holidays we have ever had. Book now people, it will change your life!!

We hired Southernman boat through another owner/agency, the boat shouldn’t have gone to sea. The boat failed us and we had to return to port with no compensation from the owner $$$ down drain and just destroyed. John from Portlandroads came to the rescue with an offer from his own fleet off his own bat once he heard our story.. thank you John so much

We’ve spent the last week bareboating on ‘Lucy’, one of the fleet from Portland Roads.An amazing experience and great way to see the Whitsunday Islands. The Portland Roads team were so supportive throughout the process, supporting our prep with in depth information, an informative morning briefing and then 24/7 advice when on board of how to maximize our experience. We were fortunate enough to see turtles, dolphins, a reef shark and so many fish!The team genuinely cared about our experience and are very sincere in their support of reef generation and the indigenous land owners.
